
Life was easier about a year ago with only one or two NB-IoT Modules available from various manufacturers. Today there are over a dozen different manufacturers making multiple NB-IoT Modules each. While it is nice to have options to choose and pick from, it also presents a challenge for any developer or development company.
We have spent many days collecting all the data we could on the power consumption details of NB-IoT modules for our internal decision making, and recommendations to clients. Sharing the details here, so it makes the life easy for fellow developers and designers (it also servers as a quick reference for our team too – but really, we are doing this for all mankind).
We will try and keep this updated as far as possible, and as the NB-IoT space evolves. Look forward to inputs from fellow engineers to make this as comprehensive a resource as possible for quick NB-IoT Modules power consumption comparison. Eventually we would like to make this a reference for finding the lowest power NB-IoT Modules quickly and easily.

Our aim at Ensemble Tech, is to work in the best interest of the project and the product. We have tried to make this a completely unbiased NB-IoT Modules comparison, any signs of bias are probably because of the features of the module itself!!
