Life was easier about a year ago with only one or two NB-IoT Modules available from various manufacturers. Today there are over a dozen different manufacturers making multiple NB-IoT Modules each. While it is nice to have options to choose and pick from, it also presents a challenge for any developer or development company.
We have spent many days collecting all the data we could on the power consumption details of NB-IoT modules for our internal decision making, and recommendations to clients. Sharing the details here, so it makes the life easy for fellow developers and designers (it also servers as a quick reference for our team too – but really, we are doing this for all mankind).
We will try and keep this updated as far as possible, and as the NB-IoT space evolves.
